A party might not seem like much, but to some people, it represents a break from the everyday troubles that they deal with. When people arrive at an event, all they want to do is sit back, chat with friends, and have a drink. Unfortunately, if your event doesn't give them the opportunity to do one of those things, your party might just feel like an uncomfortable, unnatural waste of time.
